Porzi Lorenzo

Lorenzo Porzi received the PhD in computer engineering in 2017. His doctoral research, focused on augmented reality and deep learning, was carried out in the framework of a collaboration between University of Perugia, Italy and Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Trento, Italy. During his PhD he spent three months as a visiting student at the Institut de Robòtica i Informàtica Industrial (IRI CSIC-UPC), Barcelona, Spain. In February 2017 he joined IRI as a post-doctoral researcher, working on applications of deep learning to 3D vision problems. During his PhD he published a total of 13 peer-reviewed works, including two articles in Q1 journals and three papers in conferences with acceptance rates below 30%. He partecipated in two European projects: FP7 ICT Venturi and H2020 REPLICATE.
